Windows 10: Camera Problem, showing a whitish layer effect after it turns on.

I am using an HP Laptop and it has an inbuilt camera like any other laptop. But the problem is that whenever it turns on, after some time like 2 or 3 seconds, there is a white-like layer in the camera view, mean to say, there is like a white layer in the photo or video which makes everything a bit whiter which is totally disgusting. I explored a lot from the internet, it showed that u can change camera settings from an inbuilt app like for Logitec camera where u can control/change brightness, contrast etc. But I was not able to find anything like that in my PC. It's very bothersome to see that kind of effect or anything it is because of the first few seconds it shows the fancied picture then it comes up with that white effect. It pesters me a lot in my web meetings.

Camera stuck on effect

Please help - my TMobile Dash Camera seems to be stuck on an effect even though I have effects-none selected. Is this a software or hardware issue ? Please suggest.

You can try these steps and see if it will make any difference:

• Power cycle

1. Turn off the phone then remove the back cover and the battery.

2. Reinsert the battery and the back cover then turn on your phone.

• Reset your camera settings

1. Go to Settings.

2. Swipe to Application settings.

3. Choose Photos+camera.

4. Select Reset camera.
