Windows 10: Camera Recording Brightness problem

So every time I record a video from my camera on my laptop or even an external camera. It looks normal and the brightness is okay. But when I stop recording and started watching it, the brightness changes excessively.

Any ways to fix this? I badly need to record things this week. Thank you in advance.

Windows 10 Camera App fluctuates brightness recording video

I have a new Dell 2 in 1 laptop. When I try to record video with the Camera App the brightness keeps fluctuating from dark to light to dark.

Does anyone know how to stop or fix this? Or, can you suggest another recording App or software? I record performance video mainly for YouTube.

Can not record audio.

We suggest that you run troubleshooting for Audio Recording by following these steps:

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

Brightness Control not working in Windows 10

Hi Ella,

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.
