Windows 10: Camera seems to be on but no clear image

I've noticed the past few days whenever I tried to use the camera app for something the image that shows up isn't clear at all. It's not exactly working but I can tell it's on, and whenever I put something directly in front of the camera, I can see color change to either black or whatever the color of the object is. I'm mainly wondering if this is a technical issue that I can fix at home through settings and such or a mechanical one where if I were to really want my camera back, I'd have to send it in for repairs?

Camera of Nokia Lumia 520 is not Capture the clear Picture

I have same model phone and love the pictures it takes. They are so clear and vivid.

Suggestions:

• Light: The camera needs plenty of light to take good pictures. There is no flash.
• Motion: Do your best to hold it still.
• Zoom: Make sure you are NOT zoomed in, that will cause lots of noise.

 

Clear Pagefile on Shutdown


I've been looking into clearing the pagefile, and I found the following steps at a somewhat dated webpage:

1. In the registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
2. Set ClearPageFileAtShutdown to the REG_DWORD value of 1.
3. Restart Windows.

I'm just wondering whether those steps are still valid, and, if so, does clearing the pagefile work as advertised?

Thanks for providing the results after completing the steps we provided. Since you're still getting the error message “Your camera cannot be found” along with the error code "0xA00F4244 (0xC00DABED)", we suggest that you follow the steps below
to reset the Camera app on your Windows 10 computer:

• Press the Windows Key + I to open the Settings app.
• From the options presented select System, then click on
  Apps & features located on the left pane.
• Locate the Camera app from the list and select it.
• Select the Advanced options link and then choose Reset.
• When the pop-up notification is shown just click on the Reset
  button once more.
• Once all the steps are complete, kindly reboot your computer.

Completing this steps will clear the cache of the Camera app and allow it to re-recognize any video capture devices connected to your computer.
