Lenovo Y510P (Unsupported for Win 10) Camera Driver Needed


Hello and welcome ksuthayya have had a look for a driver for your machine but there are only drivers listed up to 8.1 not 10.

Having said that my old Toshiba was in the same position and yet when I installed 10 Windows updates found drivers for stuff not listed on the Toshiba site.

Now a suggestion would be to get a clip on camera and install it via USB or like wise because it would have it owns driver. If my memory serves me right they are not that expensive - but still annoying eh?.

 

My camera is stuck in black and white

So when I used to skype alot, I had changed my camera to black and white using the Tools> Camera Settings feature that was in skype. I did this to hide redness in my face, but when I stopped using my laptop and skype, everything changed. Now that I am
using my camera and laptop for important meetings and work, my camera is still stuck in black and white. The windows 10 update took away the camera settings and Skype now has a new update that took away the ability to change the camera settings. I need my
camera back in color asap. Is there anyway that I can fix this?

 

Windows 10 camera.

Windows 10 camera on new Lenovo ideapad 320 laptop. All apps working except windows camera. it just shows a black screen with the outline of a camera with a grayish line through it. All suggested permissions have been given. Any help welcome.
