Windows 10: Camera turns on for couple of seconds and then turns off.

So I've recently bought a new camera Logitech C920, I haven't really been using it often but recently I've plugged it into my PC and I've realised sometimes my camera turns on for couple of seconds as if something or someone is using it to spy on me? I've disallowed every application to use the camera and I also scanned for any malware / spyware and it didn't find anything. For reference I used Panda Dome. Is there any way to know for sure on what's causing it? Even if it's not plugged in properly and theoretically lets say it unplugs and plugs back in it shouldn't turn on my camera right? th

Camera turns on and off unexpectedly

Hello, I bought a new laptop and I did all the steps correctly like signing up (Microsoft account) and also updating to windows 11. However, when I am in teams and I had to turn on the camera, it was working for a couple of seconds and then it suddenly turned off unexpectedly. I checked as well if it was just a problem in teams, but it was the same with the actual camera app worked for a couple of seconds and it turned off. How can I fix this? (The laptop brand I have is MSI GF63 THIN 10UC-443PH INTEL Core I7)

 

E71 Camera Flash Doesn't Turn Off

Yeah I'm facing the same problem, but not only with camera flash, also with camera tone. whenever I turned off the flash and take a click the flash will blink, and in settings flash will "Automatic", and second case is there is no option to turn off capture
tone. pls help with simple suggestions..

Hi, I have the same laptop and had the same issue with the camera turning itself on. I guess I have found the app which is using the camera which is WAVES MaxxAudio




Turn off WAVES MaxxAudio and restart your laptop to fix this
