    CAMERA UNABLE TO LAUNCH


    HEY TEAM,


    MY CAMERA APP HAS BEEN FAULTY LATELY IVE ONLY EVER USED IT ONCE ON ZOOM AND IT HASNT WORKED EVER SINCE.


    IVE TRIED ALL THE SELF HELP SUGGESTIONS AND MEASURES.


    STILL IT ISNT WORKING AND SUPER FRUSTRATING.


    THIS LAPTOP IS BRAND NEW ONLY 2 MONTHS!

    download Windows camera app

    Success in resetting Store; that produced a download of the Windows camera, despite seeing error message again, download proceeded. Screen shows MS app for Windows camera and indicates downloaded. (Camera now listed in app list.) But when Launch was selected,
    no action after screen with camera icon. Eventually message appeared " something went wrong: here is message code if needed: 0x400F4271>MediaCaptureFailedEvent>0xC00D3704. We seem to be moving ahead a step at a time. Next suggestion?

    2. What is the exact model of the computer?
    3. What is the error you get when you launch the app?

    Hi Jawad,

    Please answer this question to assist you better.

    • What is the make and model of your computer?
    • Which troubleshooting steps are you referring to?
    • Does this issue occurs in any particular app e.g. Skype?

    Try to use the camera on different apps or websites and check if it works fine. Refer the link below and follow the troubleshooting steps suggested.
