Windows 10: Can a shortcut be made to log in with a password or not log in with it?

Let me explain. I already set then computer, after a fresh install, to boot or reboot without the lock screen. I was thinking of by passing the log in screen as well. I also have on my desktop a shortcut for shutting it down and one for rebooting. Next weekend I will have a room-mate for about 2 weeks. Hence I was thinking that though I wold like not to have to log in my own computer it would be a good idea to do so while he is here hence my question. Ideally, actually, it would be 4 shortcuts, or some system to do all 4., 1 to reboot with password log in, 1 to reboot without pwd log in. 1 t

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

 

Struggling to log on

Hello all,

I have a friend who registered here a couple of weeks ago (Jacko28), but he's struggling to log on. He logs on, but once trying to create a post - it logs him out.

He's deleted cookies, tried a diffrent browers, and other various things.

Can anyone suggest anything?

Can't change password to log in windows or add pin

The issue you are experiencing may have something to do with your profile or with the Windows components of your device. That being said, we will be performing some troubleshooting steps to isolate the cause of this problem. To start, we suggest that you
change your password via https://account.microsoft.com/. Here's how:

• Log in your account via
  https://account.microsoft.com/.
• Go to the Security tab.
• Click on CHANGE PASSWORD.
• Change your password.
• Select Save.

Once done, log in your account to your device using the new password. Please post back with the result for further assistance.
