Windows 10: Can anyone help identify the problem that the CAPS-lock key creates

The problem is that the CAPS-lock key somehow somewhere has priority in a program or windows to activate the desktop / taskbar / frontscreen.In FIFA 2022 the CAPS-lock key is used for numerous commandsIn Skyrim the CAPS-lock key is used for commandsBut these programs have become useless with above stated problem.To be honest; I've had this problem a year ago and could not get it back to work again even not with the help of Bethesda and Steam.By coincidence I came across the solution. A setting in a program I did myself.I've no clue what program that was anymore.I do know that I would not creat

Shawn you know how I like personalizing dry things like .bat, .vbs, and .reg file, right?

1. Well I created a folder for both reg files, and placed it in my Documents folder.
2. Then I created shortcuts to the desktop(using "Send to").
3. I placed the shortcuts in a folder on the desktop.
4. Then I customized the folder icon, and the reg file shortcuts(you cannot change the actual reg files icon, hence the shortcuts).

I did this so that I could run both files as needed from the desktop toolbar.

Problem with Caps Lock key

Varies from brand/make/model. Your's doesn't.

Anyway, a lot of programs have their own indicator for caps lock on/off ... e.g. MS Word > right click on status bar at bottom of MS Word> from popup menu, tick Caps Lock. The words "Caps Lock" will appear on the LH side of the status bar, as appropriate.

This is likely to be one of those where, as I don't know what you've already tried, I'll have spent time suggesting what you have tried. That's why I asked for a clear list of what you have tried. Do you see this when you toggle caps lock?
