Windows 10: Can Anyone help me extract the files?

I have an external hard drive which can be used to store files but files cannot be transferred from it,i really need help please,i have a deadline to edit some videos by this Tuesday.sometimes the files will be transferring st a fast pace wirhin 0 n 1% in mega byte and just drop immediately to kb or zero byte before it can even even move to 2% then this error message will follow like unexpected has occurred use this error code boah blah.even before you connect the drive it says something like there's an error something something so please format this drive.is there anyway i can extract my vide

Are the step-by-step processes identical? That is, the folder extracted from and the folder extracted to belong to the same hierarchical file system structure. If they are, that suggests mildly the Cumulative Update left an electron or two out of place.

Thanks pyramid10 for your contribution, I ensured that the steps taken and the source and destination folders were the same, in the using zip7 as suggested by BunnyJ resolved all issues for me.
I am the first to admit that I am a long long way from understanding the intricacies of computers and if truth be told I am now to old anyway to absorb much information.

• May we know what is the file type of the files that you downloaded from Mac?
• May we also know what is the error message that you receive when you extract the file?
