    This is a live kernel reports file i am facing many problems with my laptop and this is my 3rd post for fixing the same problem my laptop gets stuck and you cant do nothing except pressing the power button, also sometimes when i restart aur power on my laptop it shows a black screen with nothing on it and the keyboard light runs but the capslock does not light when pressed. I did everything mentioned on google and youtube updating drivers and bios update everything.WATCHDOG-20230630-1904.dmppls help me with this i have one more file but it is of 1gb if you want that i will give a link for that

  3. Programs crash and no LiveKernelReports

    Hi,

    Thank you very much for the reply.

    I know this is the folder where the error files appear after a computer fails, the computer doesn't BSOD but only programs crash or freeze, so I went to Event Viewer and searched as much as possible to narrow down the problem. As you can see in my previous post (and I'll post it again) the DMP files which should be in C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports\ResourceTimeout\ and C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports\ are not there, or has Windows deleted them already?

    Attached files:

    \\?\C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports\ResourceTimeout\ResourceTimeout-20220312-0048.dmp (the file is not there, the folder is empty)

    \\?\C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports\ResourceTimeout-20220312-0048.dmp (the file is not there, there are only empty folders)

    The only other error I found in the logs at the same time was this one, which happened 10 minutes before the crash, I guess it's unrelated though.

    Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort2, was issued.

    I would love to send a DMP file but if they aren't there, there is nothing to send!

    The only file I could find is C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue\Kernel_1cc_cb82c7d54087e77e6ceec2b0552e218429c4942c_00000000_ca50e288-77a1-456a-8a6e-0ccd87532cef/Report.wer which doesn't contain much information, but I'll send it to you anyway.

    By the way, I couldn't open this folder, so I copied it to a other location and it only contained the Report.wer, maybe there are more files there?

    Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


    I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
    We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
    Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
    I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
    It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
