Windows 10: Can anyone tell my why my second monitor keeps randomly going out throughout the day for...

Win 10 current buildAMD Ryzen 7 3700 CPUAMD 6700 GPU64 GBs DDR4 X570 Gaming X MotherboardToday while playing games my monitors started randomly going out but applications would still be running in the background. After restarting my PC the second monitor would be disconnected and won't reconnect, I've tried restarting my computer, fully shutting down my computer, updating drivers in Device Manager and in AMD Adrenalin and switching ports on the GPU. Does anyone know what this could be and how to fix it?

My monitor keeps going dark for about a second

My monitor has been turning going dark for a second or two and it happens multiple times a day, sometimes I'll happen multiple times with only a few minutes in between, and some times it'll be hours in between. It never lasts for much longer than a second
or two, and it doesn't happen from being bumped or anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Second screen with dual monitors randomly goes black

Hi Andre,

I updated the bios but no luck. It was a F.6, now on F.14 which is still a good thing to have.

But the second monitor keeps going black for a second. Also it makes like a noice like something disconnects or something. But the power is just fine, I swapped monitors and when I make the other one my second display, that is the one going randomly black.

Monitor is going black or distorted white randomly

I have a LCD monitor on my computer. Randomly, the monitor will either go completely black (as if powered off, and the power light turns off) or it will get a distorted frozen white screen (like how your smartphone would look if you dropped it in a toilet and tried to turn it on). Not too surprising, I have not dropped this 21 inch monitor in a toilet. The only way I can get the monitor to work again is by unplugging it and plugging it back in

I'm pretty sure that it is just a dead monitor that needs to be replaced, but a friend suggested that it might just be the power cord, since the monitor will work (like it is now) for hours on end, then suddenly start randomly not working. It's worth checking out, but before dropping money on a new monitor (if it isn't the power cord), can anyone confirm (or strongly suggest) that it is not a CPU issue or video card? Or maybe someone has seen this before?
