Windows 10: Can Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 open Windows 10 Mail App

When using Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center to set the option of Mail Clients, it only allows Windows Live Hotmail, Microsoft Outlook, or Mozilla Thunderbird. I want it to open the Windows 10 Mail App, which I happen to like.


The odd thing is that when I boot up my computer in the morning (after doing a Shut down the night before) about 90% of the time the Mail key on my Ergonomic 4000 launches the Mail App. But if I close the Mail App, from then on every time I use the Mail key, it launches Outlook. (I currently have it set to Outlook.) Very bizarre behavior.


Mouse and Keyboard Center is clearly long out of date ("Windows Live Hotmail", "Mozilla Thunderbird"). Will it be updated? Meanwhile, is there a way to lock in the Mail App behavior of the Mail key?

Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 Driver...

In Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 you don't need any of driver to run. Its just run so quickly and you don't need to install any kind of drivers to run this Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000.

Still as you already told above that you have installed Drivers then you have to first uninstall Drivers and connect again Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000. I hope this might help you out.
