Windows 10: Can I access my desktop without going through my pin

I recently upgraded my computer. I’m doing so I bought a new motherboard that does not have the WiFi drivers installed. I also tried using Ethernet, it did not work. I can not access my desktop to install these drives so the wifi can work . Every time I try and access my account it says “your pin is no longer available due to a change to the security settings on this device. Click too set up your pin again.” I need the internet to reset up my pin. Im hard locked out of my computer…

Remove items from Quick access.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Right click on the file or folder.
• Select the option “unpin from the quick access”

To pin items to an item already on the quick access bar.

Follow the below steps.

I would suggest you to create folder in the desktop screen & place all the files or folder which need to pin to the quick access.

• Open the quick access.
• Select the Desktop option.
• Right click on the folder & select the option “pin to quick access”

Step 1: I suggest you to perform the below steps to add the apps on desktop.

• Click on the “Start button” and locate the App that you want to pin to Desktop.
• Right click on the “App” and click on “More options”.
• Then click on “Open File location” and right click on the app, click on “Send to” option.
• Then select “Desktop (Create shortcut)”.
• Go to “Desktop” and check whether the app is located or not.

Or Step 2: To add shortcuts to the desktop

• Press and hold or right-click the desktop, tap or click New, and then tap or click Shortcut.
• Enter the location of the item or tap or click Browse to find the item in File Explorer.

To pin an app back to your Start screen, kindly follow these steps:

Go to your App list.

Look for the app.

Tap and hold the app, and tap "Pin to

start".

Go back to your Start Screen, swipe at the bottom part and you will see there the icon of the apps that you just pinned.
