    How Do I Access Files on a Physically Moved Hard Drive

    Ver. 22H2 (OA Build 19045.2965 Licensed to "John" (is this what is to be used when owner is requested as an entry? I recently physically moved two SATA hard drives from a Win 7/Pro x64 machine to a Win 10/Pro x 64 machine. My intention was to copy data I had stored on these drives to a 2 TB SSD on the Win 10 machine. In the process I tried to open a *.jpg image file and discovered that I do not have "read permissions to view the properties of this object." I probed the options presented to me and selected the "Advanced" button. The system responded "You have been denied permission to access to this folder" I explored the long list of settings and found nothing that seems applicable. What explicit steps in what exact order must I take to regain access to this information? I saved snips of all the windows I encountered. I elected to not clutter the forum, but I can save each one as a *.jpg and upload them if that would be helpful.

    in my laptop I have C, D and E hard drives , how to know weather i have 3 separate physical hard drives or its just one drive with partitions divided among CDE ? just curious
