Windows 10: Can I activate Windows 10 Enterprise if I buy a product key?

One of my PC's I did a clean reinstall and found out after going through the complete set up that it had Enterprise on it. I searched online and saw a lot of conflicting information and some coming from Micosoft help.First can I purchase a Windows 10 Enterprise product key from a various site and use it to activate my PC with Windows 10 Enterprise without having to be connected to any company server? Basically use Windows 10 Enterprise just as I do with my other PC with Windows 10 Pro?Online I see YES you can purchase a product key, enter it on the PC with Windows 10 Enterprise and use it just

Finding the Windows 10 Enterprise Product Key for activation

So, I just upgraded my copy of Windows 10 Home edition to Windows 10 Pro Edition, but for some reason. I got Windows 10 Enterprise edition instead. And now, I get an email from the date of purchase like normal, but there is no product key included and I
already had a product key for Windows 10 Home edition and I can't use my current product key to re-activate Windows 10 for the Enterprise edition. I get an error message in the activation window saying:

We can't activate Windows on this device as we can't connect to your organization's activation server. Make sure you're connected to your organization's network and try again. If you continue having problems with activation, contact your organization's support
person. Error Code: 0x8007232B

I don't know know why this is happening to me. I did buy it from the Microsoft store and then I look again and now it says, "Get Genuine Windows 10" So what could be the problem? I'm afraid of buying another copy of Windows 10 just to get another product
key.

 

If I buy a new product key for windows 7 enterprise can I still activate my version of windows

Windows 7 Enterprise is licensed using Volume Licensing.
