Windows 10: Can I add a local account to Microsoft Store?

Hi there,
I recently switched from Microsoft account to a local account, but with the same email address .There is no issue with that as I have removed my Microsoft account from my device , but the Microsoft store app still shows my old 'Microsoft' account and I would like to remove it and add my local account to Microsoft store.

Please, anybody has any suggestion?

Using step 5 in the tutorial below should work for you to sign in to the Store with your Microsoft account while staying signed in to Windows with your local account.

Creating a MS account without losing Local account

Go to https://account.microsoft.com, click Create account and fill the form:





With a Microsoft account you can then use OneDrive and Office Online apps for free. You can also use built-in native Windows apps which require a Microsoft account like Mail, Skype Preview, People, Calendar and download apps from Windows Store.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store
