Windows 10: Can I Add Storage Memory to My Windows 10 PC Without Losing Any of My Data and Personal Files?

I bought a new computer with inadequate storage memory and I need to add storage memory to it.


When I spoke to a technician about this, she said that this would involve a reinstallation of Windows 10 and that I would lose my data when she did this.


Is there not a way around this - a way of adding storage memory without losing personal data?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Bullshit. 2 step verification and purchase orders requires an account of course, but virtually everything else can be performed with local data storage in the browser. Companies don't want to do this of course, but it is possible.
