Windows 10: Can i adjust the shared video memory on a GTX 1050 2GB gfx card via the registry?

Hi guys.I have a GTX 1050 2GB graphics card.Via the registry on Windows 10, can i alter the shared video memory size?And if yes what is the registry entry settings?Thanks

Hello

I have just bought a Lenovo Y520 laptop with a GTX 1050 2GB graphics card. I am currently playing Forza Horizon 3 and every time it cuts to a play scene you will normally see a notification at the top warning of low video memory.
I have got the graphics set to very low.
I noticed that when playing the game my memory (8GB DDR4) is around 85%-90%, would a increase in memory help the issue?
If not then will anything help?

 

Which is better gtx 1050 or gtx 1050ti in 1080p gaming

Please if anybody can help me it will be great I am confused what to buy gtx 1050 or gtx 1050ti I have a 1080p monitor so is 2gb ram enough to play all games in 1080p

 

System Shared Memory

Hi,

I have this issue:

I installed a new GPU on my PC (GeForce GTX 1050 Ti) and after that my System information has changed so..

Before:

Installed Memory (RAM): 16.00 GB

After:

Installed Memory (RAM): 16.00 GB (7.95 GB usable)

Now I have 2 questions:

• is possible decrease or disable the Shared System Memory? (I can't from bios)
• in my video card info the Shared System Memory amounts to 4070 MB where are the others 4 GB of my RAM..
  why only 7.95 GB usable an not 12 GB?
