    Can I automatically associate a folder "Name" to a certain "Kind" of folder customization...


    Hi,Is there a way to setup specific folder names to automatically customize to one of the 5 kinds of folders General Items, Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos?I use a lot of folders labeled "Media" and instead of having to go to folder properties to set it up to "Pictures" each time, is there a way to have this done automatically when I label the folder "Media"?Is there is way to set this up in some options somewhere? Does anyone know of a program that will do this? Or can I customize the registry to do this?It would save a lot of time. And I am sure a lot of people would love to have this o

    Moved a folder from another drive and rename and it still shows as the old folder name in certain places

    Hi Nick,

    I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check the behavior.

    • Create a new folder name it as 'My Videos'.
    • Now copy/cut and paste the contents which are in the folder "Videos", and delete the folder "Videos".
    • Now check the behavior.
    Please keep us updated with the status of the folder, to assist you further.
