Windows 10: Can I buy a wireless keyboard and pair with existing wireless mouse receiver?

I have the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 1850, model # U7Z-00002.

I'd like to also buy a wireless keyboard to go with it. I've been using a wired keyboard until now.


However, what I want to avoid is having two different receivers: one for the mouse and one for the keyboard.


Is there a Microsoft wireless keyboard I could buy that would pair with the existing wireless mouse receiver I already have?


The reason why this is important is because I have multiple laptops and sometimes I want to use the mouse/keyboard with one, and sometimes with another. I want to have the ease of simply unplugging the receiver from one laptop and plugging into another. I do that for the mouse and it works really well. I just want to add a keyboard to that equation.


And I don't want to buy a dock. They're really expensive and it would be overkill for my simple needs.


Any insight would greatly appreciated.

Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

I have an Inspiron 4471 AIO, a Dell Desktop and an Acer Laptop all running W10 ver 1809 with the latest updates.

The wireless keyboard and mouse that came with the Inspiron work just fine but I want to replace the keyboard with a Logitech or Microsoft Keyboard/Mouse combination both of which I have.

All three keyboards work with the Desktop and laptop but only the Dell keyboard/mouse work with the Dell AIO.

The AIO shows the appropriate wireless receiver in Devices and Printers but the KB and mouse don't work. I, of course, tried the receivers all the USB ports with no luck.

The problem exist also if I boot Macrium's rescue USB as well as a W10 ISO on a flash drive. Each of the other two KB/mouses work just fine in those environments

I will really appreciate help with solving this problem.

Budget wireless keyboard and mouse for gaming? (INR)

hi, i searched lot, but cant find any wireless keyboard and mouse, there are so cheap things available, dont wana do mistake,
can anyone suggest me, any budget wireless gaming keyboard and mouse which available in india?
please help me.

 

Logitech wireless receiver compatibility

I have a Logitech LX710 wireless keyboard and mice set, consisting of an LX710 keyboard and LX7 laser mouse. Now the right button of the mouse broke down, just after the warranty period was over.
Now I want to replace the mouse, but i do not want other wireless receiver on my table. The LX7 mouse is not available anywhere near me, but i have found the LX8, which seems to have a similar receiver as the LX710.
Any idea if the LX8 would be compatible with the LX710 receiver ?

(On the Logitech forums there is a link to a compatibility list, but unfortunately the link is not working any more, and so far they have ignored my questions...)
