Windows 10: Can I buy fortnite vbucks using microsoft rewards for the switch?

The thing is, im on the brink of getting a £10 gift card and before i do something stupid, im not taking any risks, so would i be able to go on my phone and redeem the points, go to microsoft store from my phone and get a thousand VBucks for my fortnite account on my switch? or would i get a code?

so today i bought 3 1000 v bucks on my pc from the microsoft store. its says the order was complete but i do not have my vbucks . is there something i did not do?
