Windows 10: Can I cancel windows 10/get a refund.

My laptop said it was only windows 8 and needed to update to windows 10 so i paid $340 to update it. The computer guy said it didn't need the update because it was already on windows 10 and can't update any more than that and said I should get a refund because it was already on windows 10? Is that possible

Cancellation and refund

Hi. I wasn't able to cancel my subscription before my free trial ended. My card was deducted a plan. I want to know if I can still cancel and get a refund of the amount. Reading most of the support's answers, I may still be eligible for the refund if it was within 30 days of the subscription. The receipt says my renewed subscription was successfully renewed last September 1, 2022 but I was only billed today, my time, October 14, 2022. That was more than a month from the subscription date I was sent in the receipt. Please, I need to get a refund.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
