Laptops cannot access desktops via WIFI

I have 3 desktops (all on Windows 10 1803) connected on my LAN. After following this forum for some times and did all the steps as suggested by forum member, access denied, all my desktops are able to view and access one another. I have a printer connected to PC1, and managed to connect all the other 2 PCs to have the shared printer.

I also have 2 more laptops (both Asus with the same Windows 10 1803) connected via WIFI. Performed all the same steps as per the desktops, but I was not able to access PC1. I was able to view all the 3 desktops from the file explorer, but I just can't access all the desktops. However, I was able to access the Asus laptops from desktop PC1.

Anyone able to assist on this matter? Any assistance is highly appreciated.

Can 2 Windows 10(1903) laptops be connected via blue tooth?

At the first part of that article it mentions laptops and tablets but everything else refers to connecting devices to a PC. I even went and checked out Swift Pair which is totally confusing. But Settings/ Bluetooth & other devices/Show doesn't exist in 1903.
While my network connection over Wifi is now fixed. I noticed that my Toshiba followed by an old email address is listed under Media Devices and under Bluetooth other devices on both laptops, however, on my Alienware it doesn't show as paired or connected. If I click on it asks whether or not to delete it. That old email address used to be my Microsoft Account which my Toshiba still wanted to use. I had to add that email address to my Microsoft Account as an alisa a couple of days ago which froze my account for a while. I don't know if this has anything to do with the Bluetooth problem.

Maybe I found the answer to why my 2 laptops can't connect via Bluetooth in an article on how Bluetooth works. The article says "Bluetooth uses a packet-based protocol with a master/slave architecture. Essentially, this means that one device controls other devices on the network". Keep in mind that I've already connected my smartphone to both laptops so the laptops are no doubt the master in both instances. Now when trying to connect the laptops they both want to be master and that's why the passcode is always rejected. The article later says there can be multiple Bluetooth networks and a device can be a master in one and a slave in another but there isn't any dumb user ability in Windows 10 to do that level of Bluetooth setup. So that's my best guess on why my 2 laptops can't connect via Bluetooth.

Can I connect 2 Windows laptops via HDMI?

using mob phone connected to i/net via public wifi to connect laptop

Hi, recently purchased new laptop with windows 10 installed. I currently use public/open wifi connection to connect to the internet for non private surfing (private matters dealt with via payg dongle). However, this open wifi connection can be erratic (whereas previous laptop running windows 7 connected as and when requested). Once connected, it is faultless and speedy enough for my needs. I have also marked this connection as ‘automatic’.
I know that it is not the signal strength, it is simply the initial connection, with which my new laptop seems to struggle with! My screen shows all available networks so is picking up all correct signals. When I click ‘connect’ it will go through the motions for approx 2-3 seconds and then say ‘unable to connect to this network’ and other times, it will say ‘connecting’ and will go through these motions, and will continue to say ‘connecting’ for 15 minutes and longer or until I get sick of waiting!
On the occasions when it does finally ‘connect’, it will begin with a message in the ‘action centre’ saying ‘click on message to connect to open wifi’-it will then go to the open/public wifi homepage and connect-from thereon, I am fine.
Why won’t my laptop connect as easily to open wifi as last machine did on windows 7, and why does it continually say ‘unable to connect to internet’ or remain in ‘connecting’ mode?
A further query I have (apologies) is when my laptop refuses to connect to internet as above, my mobile phone connects to the open wifi easily so I certainly know that it is not the distance that is in question, or the strength of signal-bearing this in mind, is it possible to connect my laptop and mobile phone via usb and possible to use my phone when it is connected to the open wifi source to connect my laptop to internet via this route? If so, would somebody give me step by step instructions to connect this way, please. The phone I currently have is a 3g sony xperia mini pro (which I am sure you can gather I have had for few years now!)
Many thanks for all replies and all assistance is gratefully received.
