Windows 10: Can I copy/transfer my copy of Windows 10 that I have preinstalled to my USB drive?

So what I’m trying to do is clone my storage on my laptop and for one of the steps, it says I need a copy of Windows 10. My problem is that I don’t want to buy Windows 10 (because for $139, that’s expensive as hell and I’m not buying that). I already have Windows preinstalled to my computer, so can I just copy/transfer my preinstalled version of Windows to a USB drive?

So after buying the USB to IDE cable that you guys suggested, would it be wise to use the "Data Lifeguard Tools 11.2 for Windows" program then use the Drive-to-Drive Copy feature?

 

Copying a whole drive

EASEUS tools are by far the best. I just copied whole system to a bigger HDD using EASEUS Todo Backup for my sister. Worked like a charm and like 30 or 45 minutes later, the files transfered from internal drive to the USB external drive. Then i just swaped the drives and the job was done.
