  2. How to delete system file

It is generally not recommended to delete system files, including .sys files, as they are essential for the functioning of your operating system. However, if you are sure that the .sys file is not necessary for your system and you want to delete it, you can follow these steps:

    1. Right-click on the Start button and select "Command Prompt (Admin)" or "Windows PowerShell (Admin)".
    2. In the Command Prompt or Windows PowerShell window, type the following command and press Enter:
Replace "C:\Path\to\file.sys" with the actual file path and name of the .sys file you want to delete.

    1. If you get an "Access is denied" error, try running the Command Prompt or Windows PowerShell as an administrator. To do this, right-click on the Command Prompt or Windows PowerShell icon and select "Run as administrator".
    2. Once the file has been deleted, you can close the Command Prompt or Windows PowerShell window.
It's worth noting that deleting system files can potentially cause problems with your system, so it's important to be absolutely sure that the file is safe to delete before proceeding.

    • Select OK.

If you need to free up more space, you can also delete system files:
