  1. Can I delete My 16MB Reserved Partition to Increase My EFI Partition

Hi All,I want to increase my EFI Partition from 100MB to around 1GB so I can install Windows 11.It is on an SSD which is 500GB.However I have been unable to come up with a way to do so due to a 16MB system reserved partition in the way that I dont know what it does. Can I delete this system reserved partition show in the attached image without any risk so I can shrink my C Partition to then give space to the EFI Partition? Thanks Raymond

    :)

  2. Deleting system reserve

Using a third party tool, it suggests that there are no consequences for deleting the 16MB system reserve and that this will allow the EFI system partition to be increased beyond its current 100MB (lack of size has hindered standard updates of Windows
10). I have over 300 MB of unallocated disk space that I can add to the EFI system partition.

    Move EFI partition

its to enable win 10 to update to its anniversary edition.. it cant do this due to lack of C drive space i have had a quick try with the trial version of easus.. it didnt seem to be able to do what i want..

i am assuming i cant just delete the efi partition but maybe i could.. as yet i havnt even figured out how to get into the bios of the thing.. maybe that should be my next step.. *Smile Can I delete My 16MB Reserved Partition to Increase My EFI Partition :)

diskpart could probably do it but figuring out how (it aint that user friendly) might be difficult without step by step instructions..

  4. Can I delete My 16MB Reserved Partition to Increase My EFI Partition

The Efi system partition deleting during clean install....

    Hello,

I have the Dell inspiron 15 5558 and i wanted to know that mine got a partition called the "EFI system partition" which is of 100mb. So, when i will go to clean install of windows 10 to the step to delete all my partitions, will that system reserved partition
be recreated during install? Or i have to click on new, and then that system reserved partition gets created(which will be of 500mb for windows10 according to my research)?
