Windows 10: Can I delete the Windows folder that's not on my Boot drive?

    Can I delete the Windows folder that's not on my Boot drive?


    My boot drive is C but I also have a Windows folder on another drive, possibly remained there after a reinstall? Can I safely delete the one that's not on the boot drive?This is in the Windows folder in the other drive

    Windows 8 - delete windows folders in another drive

    Just run "cleanmgr.exe" in the run command or in a command prompt and select the drive you want to clean......

    Trouble deleting a folder

    Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

    *Confused Can I delete the Windows folder that's not on my Boot drive? :confused:

    Will I be forever stuck with these unnecessary folders? *Oh Well Can I delete the Windows folder that's not on my Boot drive? :eek:hwell:
