Windows 10: Can I delete this WINBACKUP file

    Can I delete this WINBACKUP file


    Hi, I just noticed this morning that in my Documents folder, a new file appears called "fa.winbackup" and it's almost 1 GB and the file type is WINBACKUP.

    I think it was created when I upgraded my Suitcase Fusion app (font managements) and it created a backup of the font archive. I'm going based on the timestamp.

    Is it safe to delete this file now?

    Can I DELETE this file ?!

    I have Windows 10 Pro x64, all updates are done. In disk C: I find an ETL file said (SysResetTrace-Tel-Merge). Can I DELETE it?

    Hello,

    SysResetTrace-Tel-Merge is an ETL file. ETL stands for Event Trace Log file which is created by Microsoft Tracelog. Microsoft Windows records application and system-level warnings, errors, or other events to a binary file
    called the event trace log, which can then be used to troubleshoot potential problems. To answer your query, you may delete the file and deleting it will not affect anything on your system.

    Backup your files, delete that user is all I can recommend.
    Does it say anything like, "You need permission from Trusted Installer to make changes to this file" or something?
