Hi, We have looked into __cpuid. The __cpuid will give us four registers EAX, EBX, ECX, EDX values when we pass a function id and an array. Inside ECX 31st bit will let us know hypervisor bit is being set to true or not. That will lead us to know whether we are being running on a virtual machine or a local machine. Inside this Wikipedia link please check the 31st bit of the table it clearly says it would be zero for physical machines.I tried a program to know whether that bit value is true or false but, on both machines irrespective of virtual and physical this is set to be true. #include&

i have new samsung galaxy book 2 pro and I have installed a vm ware. I keep getting the error of SRW detected you are running in a virtual machine. Can someone help me ? IT from work has worked on this all week and as well as myself. Going through all the steps listed for virtual machine error . Installing uninstalling removing anit-virus software with no fix. I would appreciate any suggestions

I asked for you to clarify what you are trying to do if it's not install Windows to a Virtual Machine. Why are you installing Virtual Platform machine exactly?

If you're installing Virtual Platform machine and it's causing WIndows 11 to freeze after restart, have you considered using Hyper V instead as it is more complete - as explained in this article:

Unable to enable virtual machine platform.

I have a dell inspiron 3505 with ryzen 5 3540 processor running windows 11 and I was trying to run windows subsystem for android and for that I had to enable virtual machine platform.

But when I tried to do so, after turning it on from the "turn windows features on or off" and restarting the pc, the update goes till 96% and then gives and error that it ran into some problem and then reverts the machine to its original state and thus does not install virtual machine platform.

Please help.

Note:- If it helps somehow, I have both VMware workstation and VirtualBox installed on my pc.
