Windows 10: Can I disable my touchscreen in the Windows Installer?

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 with a cracked screen. The screen itself still works, but the touchscreen functionality is gone and it registers constant touches somewhere along the crack on the right side, where the crack is deepest. I was having some unrelated problems earlier and had to wipe my SSD and install a different OS on it for a couple hours. Now, I want to reinstall Windows, but whenever I boot into the installer USB, the touchscreen snaps the mouse back to the crack. I had previously remedied this by disabling the touchscreen in Device Manager, but I can't find a device manager i

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Touchscreen monitor

Hi, I'm looking into buying a touchscreen monitor for use with a Dell Inspiron 660 desktop pc rnning Windows 8 in order to fully utilise the touchscreen facilities of Windows 8.
I'm preliminary looking at the Iiyama T2250MTS or T2452MTS touchscreen monitors. Anyone had experience of these, do they fully work under Windows 8?
Any other suggestions of monitors in the £200-£350 range?
