I don't need the features of the Pro version so I bought a key of the Home version from Microsoft. I've been told that, while booting from the installation media, I will be prompted with the option to keep personal files but I will lose my programs. Is this true? And if so, are there any possible ways go about this without losing my programs?

    :)

Downgrading Win 11 Pro to Win 10 Pro Possible?

As you once had Win 11 on your computer, you have acquired a "Digital License" for Win 10 or Win 11 Pro so it must be Win 11 PRO to Win 10 PRO.

There is an option to buy the same computer with Win 10 Pro that you can install Win 11 Pro anytime
