Windows 10: Can I Downgrade to Windows 11 Home after activating Windows 11 Pro with some KMC/ HWID/...

I don't have much knowledge of these Windows activations and difference between versions. Please give me a beginner friendly steps/ explanation so that I can perform without any difficulties.Here is what happened and why i want to revert back: - I have purchased Lenovo Laptop on 2023 and it has 512GB SSD and i decided to upgrade my storage. Since i did not have courage and experience to experiment with my laptop, i decided to give it in a local shop for replacing my SSD. I have another laptop which does not have SSD so that I can use the old SSD in it. After replacing he have installed windows

Windows 11 Home to Pro upgrade

Want to upgrade 11 Home to 11 Pro. Tried download, but apparently files transferred were for 11 Enterprise. This will not activate; error is "invalid digital license or product key". This is on a new Surface. How to proceed?

Can withdraw/delete this. The suggestion to downgrade - listed below - with a 'fake' windows 10 key works.

I have installed windows 11 pro (i.e. not genuine) which is not activating as I have digital licence for windows 11 home single language edition and troubleshooter says that i will have to go back to home single language edition to activate windows. so, how can I downgrade windows 11 pro to my previous genuine windows 11 home single language edition?

 

Downgrade Windows 11 Enterprise to Windows 11 Pro

Hi Guys

I am working on our companies migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11, I have a few devices that were activated using our Windows 11 Enterprise licensing using KMS. Is it possible to downgrade to Pro using a Windows 11 pro MAK or Retail key without causing any issues ?

I have seen some instances on the web showing that all you do is change product key using a generic Windows 11 pro key but surely the generic key is not valid as it is shown all over the tutorials or does Windows 11 use the Windows 11 enterprise activation as proof of purchase ?
