Windows 10: Can i downgrade to windows 7

Hello,
Can i downgrade my system to windows 7?,my specs:

Intel Core i3 6006u @2.0Ghz
Nvidia Geforce 940MX
4gb ram(2.60gb usable)
500gb hard drive

also my laptop model is:Acer E15 E5 575g-33QB
it has windows 10 pre installed

Hi,
1. The only possibility would be to clean install Win 7 and you'd need a license.
2. Assuming your laptop is recent, there may not be Win 7 compatible drivers, so it simply may not work.

Why do you want to? It's possible to use Win 10 with some modifications in a very similar way in normal use, with a start menu change and more. And it is possible to get control of updates and upgrades, especially if you have Win 10 Pro.

 

i believe my gpu drivers have win 7 version and i think my processor supports win 7,my wireless network adapter also has windows 7 drivers,the reason i want to downgrade is because windows 7 has better performance than windows 10 and uses less resource

 

Except this is not true. Optimised Windows 10 definitely runs faster than Windows 7.

the only resource Windows 10 uses more is RAM which is BY DESIGN as it uses compressed memory, which ENHANCES performance.
