Windows 10: Can I download videos from my Video camera to my laptop

I have only AVI connection on video camera. Has bought cable to go from AVI to HDMI port on laptop. Can one download videos using this method and can you help with direction.

Can't get Youtube to show videos in Chrome

I haven't gotteen to this suggestion yet - but, I've shut down half my Extensions and, now, I get the voice of the Youtube videos - but still not the video. Thought this clue might help.

I understand that you’re unable to import photos and videos after upgrading to Windows 10.

This could be due to incorrect Auto play settings. I suggest you to follow the steps as shown below and check if it helps.

• Plug in the Camera.
• Go to Start and type AutoPlay Settings.
• Choose AutoPlay Settings.
• Under your Camera Device, choose the option "Import Photos and Videos."
• Exit Auto Play Settings and check if the issue persists.
