    Can I have 2 onedrive accounts from same machine? Win10 w/MS 365

This may not make a lot of sense, but here goes. I had a desktop with Office 2017. Motherboard fried so got new machine. Had access to FREE MS 365 through husband's university so installed that using his .edu email account instead of paying for old Office products. So far, so good. Until I looked in Windows Explorer and saw onedrive only had his onedrive folders...which makes perfect sense. But, I want to be able to continue using onedrive for MY stuff too, and not comingle it with his university items. What (if any) are my options? Can I set up a separate onedrive account from my machine so that I can see/use it in Windows explorer like the good 'ol days?

Any advice will be gratefully accepted. If I'm just banging my head on the desk for nothing, just let me know.

Move files from Onedrive account to Office 365 account

    Background

    1. I have a Onedrive account linked to my Microsoft account that I use
      to back-up my personal files.
    2. I now have separately been granted an Office 365 account, which comes
      with unlimited storage.

    Issue

As I am paying a fee (albeit small) to extend the size of the
Onedrive capacity linked to my Microsoft account, I am keen to move
some files between the two systems. The files I am looking to move
    exist only online.

A number of tools offer functionality to handle files between cloud accounts, ie

Howvever both these options do not recognise attempts to connect to the Office 365 Account (they work with Microsoft Accounts only).

    Question

Is there a way to move the files without a two-stage download (to pc), then upload (to Office 365)?

OneDrive - Sync Multiple Accounts in Windows

Yes. Steps 2.1 through 2.3 are meant to be done in a browser signing in to the primary OneDrive account, after receiving the email from secondary OneDrive account that account sent in step 1.7.

    Can I have 2 onedrive accounts from same machine? Win10 w/MS 365

Onedrive issues with win7 and win10 on same account

I seem to have run into a problem. I have a Win7 machine that uses Onedrive to keep Desktop, Documents etc safe on cloud. This is tied to my MS account.

I added a Win10 machine using same MS account. There appears to be a problem in including Desktop in Onedrive.

There are some links on Win 7 desktop that would not work on Win10. I will likely use machines for different purposes, so desktops will be different.

Presumably I could exclude both Desktops from Onedrive, but then it would not be backed up. Possible to rename one Desktop?

Just wondering what others might have done.

Section below SOLVED. This was caused by a default setting in Onedrive Settings. Unckecked Files on Demand, everything synced and problem went away!
