Windows 10: Can I have the windows screensaver slide show continue in a window alongside other working apps

After work - sitting in the kitchen on a stool at my touchscreen PC/DigitalFrame...I want to have left side of single monitor devoted to Edge/other, and a quadrant in the right side continuing to play the default Microsoft photo screensaver ie - so that I or others in the room can continue seeing the pictures; I'd like to use the computer, but, not disturb the entertainment of guests/others not involved in the dinner prep; today - the slideshow will stop when I start using the computer.Follow-up question - any way to find the exact file location for the last 20 or so rendered photos ie - to

Thank you for reaching out to the community - by Windows 10 slide show, do you mean the desktop background slide show is not working or the slideshow option in the Photos app?

If it's the desktop background slide show and you are using on a laptop or tablet that is unplugged, by default the power options will likely not continue the slideshow. You can change this option in the advanced power settings:

• Type Power Options in the Search/Cortana bar
• Open the Power Options - Control Panel option
• Select Change plan settings on the power option that is selected for your device
• Click Change advanced power settings
• Under Desktop background settings - Slide Show, change the "On battery" option from Paused to Available

Windows 10 Screen Saver Slide Show

Windows 10 updated recently (April 2017) and I can no longer make a slide show for screen saver by going to Control Panel>Personalize>Screensaver>slide show. I can go to Settings>Background>Slideshow and choose photos, but there is no place to click on
Apply or Finish there and it doesn't get established. Also, the Background slideshow suggests that I choose as time allotment 1, 10, 30 minutes or 1, 6 hours, or one day, so it is not the same as the former Screensaver slide show that permitted various short
periods of time (in minutes). QUESTION: How can I set up a slideshow screensaver such as I have in the past, for many years?
