    You don't have to tick the "Get important upgrades" when you run the upgrade. You can say "Not right now" and you'll get them later from Windows Update.

    Whenever I do an install of Windows 10, whether it be a clean install or upgrading from a previous OS, I NEVER let it check for updates during the install. That has always seemed to have the possibility of causing problems.
