Windows 10: Can I Install Windows 10 on a new laptop, transfer the license, and upgrade to Windows 11...

Hello, I recently upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11, however my hardware is no longer suitable for it. So I'm thinking of getting a new laptop. But there's one catch. That laptop is missing an operating system and an RJ45 port, so I don't have internet access and can't install W11 straight away.Is it possible for me to install W10, add the licence from my prior laptop which now has W11, and then install W11 again on the new laptop? Will that option be available in settings, like it was on the prior laptop?

Windows 10 upgrade license

The interesting question is that: the upgrade takes place before 29 of July. If I upgrade the PC (change the MB), and I transfer the Win 8.1 license to this new PC (cause 8.1 is retail FPP), will I be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free? Or a upgrade license must be bought?

Hello guys,

I have 1 license of WIndows 8.1 FPP/retail license. I want to upgrade to WIndows 10, but I one thing is unclear to me.
If I upgrade, will WIndows 10 license be retail or it will "turn" into some sort of OEM license?

I ask this because I upgrade my PC, you know, more memory, replace HDD, and I intend to upgrade the MB and CPU to Kaby Lake platform sometime in the future, (and of course sell the replaced hardware)
This thing is not clearly mentioned anywhere.

i bought the license. My laptop was originally loaded with win 7 and was upgraded free couple of months.

in this case, if i understand you correctly, i can transfer with below steps. Right.?

does OS upgrades if my activation key is changed.
