Windows 10: Can i load my pc backup to another pc

Hello i want to learn if i backup my files to external hard drive with windows10 or windows7 backup tool can i load backups to different pc?

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

Backup for my pc

With your version of Windows you have a choice of several backup targets:

1. A local drive, e.g. D:\
2. An external disk, e.g. E:\
3. A CD drive, e.g. F:\ (not recommended)
4. A share on a networked PC, e.g. \\Study\Backups. The two PCs would need to have a live network connection. The target PC needs a shared backup folder.

 

when a big update in win 10 or win 10 pro comes, ... i will have choice to backup PC after apply update...?

Yes you have the choice to take back up your operating system any time after update in Windows 10.

Follow the below steps to check how to take a backup.

• Press Windows + X keys and select Control panel.
  
• Change the category to Large Icons and Select back up my PC.
  
• Select set the backup drive.
  
• Follow the on screen steps.
