Windows 10: Can I make apps in my task bar or tray icons move any active window of that program to my...

When clicking an app icon in the task bar or an applications "tray icon" where the application in question already has an open window on a different desktop. Can I make that window get moved to the current desktop rather than Windows switching my active desktop to that of the window?So, to give an example, say I fire up Spotify first thing when I boot up my device. I hit Win + Tab and click "New Desktop" & Switch to it. Then I decide that I wanna switch playlist, so I go down to my task bar where I have Spotify pinned.Now the annoyance - Windows switches my active desktop to show me the

Hi Pete,

Windows 10 has a feature to personalize your task bar icons. To retrieve the missing battery icon on your taskbar, kindly follow the steps below:

• Right click on the taskbar and select Settings.
• Under Notification Area, click Turn system icons on or off.
• Look for Power and toggle Power to On. Your battery icon should appear in the system tray again.

Application stuck in tray icons of Task Bar

I uninstalled a program called Shift.exe but the try icons in Windows 10 are still in the list. They don't seem to do anything, but I cannot delete them either. (see attached image)

Does anyone know how to get rid of these ghost tray icons?

 

Uninstalled program, but system tray icon is still there...

@Steve C - that would be valid if it were only the tray icon, but the first post mentioned
