    can i make iscsi target in windows 10 pro


    good morning to all,


    i have a doubt in iscsi creation , i have more than 25 computers each computer have 1 extra HDD for backup ,it's not using properly. so i would like to compine whole disk together and make a lun . then share to each and every . so that way who does need to access they can access, is there any way to share like this. please share your suggestions

    How to get Windows 10 to be an iscsi target?

    Is there any way to get an iScsi target on Windows 10? So far I have nothing on the subject at all except to use a third party application like FreeNAS. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

    Windows 10 shutdown slowed down by iSCSI connexion

    Hi

    I just bought a Surface pro 4 and I'm experiencing an issue with shutdown duration.

    In "normal" situation, the Surface takes around 15s to shut down.

    With an iSCSI connection active at shutdown time (to a volume on a NAS), it takes up to 2 min.

    In Windows Performance Analyzer, I notice that after 15s, a "Flush storage volumes" task lasts 90s.

    I have the exact same issue on another PC (Windows 8) connected to the same iSCSI target.

    Another post from 2013 (Windows 7) suggests Windows shutdown sequence would be the cause of the
    problem.

    So, is there any workaround to speed up Windows 10 shutdown when connected to an iSCSI target ?
