Windows 10: Can I make the controls in Media Player larger on an embedded video in Word?

I embedded a local video in a Word document using macro enabled Developer legacy Active X controls. Then I created a custom property in which I disabled the Autoplay feature. What I don't like is that the control banner is very tiny. I resized my embed to almost fit from side margin to side margin, and is tall enough not to distort the perspective. The sound is fine. It's just that control bar. It's almost invisible, yuck. Can I fix that? Can you even see it? Here's a screenshot of it.

Windows Media Player Control - embedded videos not working

I cannot view windows embedded files online or locally (I am building an application with a WMV embedded in the app). I did some research and found that my PPC did not have Windows Media Player Control installed. This was true. I did find Windows Media Player
control for version 7 and installed. Now I see the controls - both on my local application and when I visit a web page with an embedded WMV - but it can never locate the video - giving me a default message of:

"Windows Media Player cannot play this file because the file cannot be found or the file type is invalid. Verify that the network and proxy settings....yada yada yada"

Is it because I installed WMP Control for version 7? I am running 10. If so - where can I get WMP control for player version 10 mobile? If this is not the correct way to solve my problem, any guidance would be appreciated from the community.

What is the exact error message you get when you to try play files on Windows Media Player?

I suggest you to run both Windows Media Player Library and Settings troubleshooter and check.

Step 1: If your computer is having problems playing video or audio files in Windows Media Player, try using the Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter to fix the problem. The troubleshooter checks the configuration and network settings
for Windows Media Player to make sure that you can play content you've downloaded and saved to your computer, or content streaming over a network or the Internet.

Steps to run Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter are as follows:

• Press Windows key + X and select Control Panel.
• In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click
  Troubleshooting.
• Click View all, and then click Windows Media Player Settings
  and follow the instructions.

Step 2: If your computer is having problems accessing your collection of digital media files in the Windows Media Player Library, try using the Windows Media Player Library troubleshooter to fix the problem. The troubleshooter makes sure
Windows Media Player is correctly installed on your computer, and checks to see whether your Player Library is corrupted.

Steps to run Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter are as follows:

• Press Windows key + X and select Control Panel.

  Is there any particular Video or video format causing the issue?
  

I suggest you to download and install the latest graphics drivers from your computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.



If the issue persists, Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Media player. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel
• Run the Windows Media player settings and Windows Media player library

If the issue persist download the Windows media player
