Windows 10: can I manually turn off the computer before selecting an OS?

I just fumbled a paper with info I needed when accessing a website and it glided under the desk near my old Vista/Win7 dual-boot computer, which was turned off as I was using my more modern system. When I was getting up after crawling under the desk, I accidentally hit the power button on the old computer with my elbow. As I had no need to turn that computer on, was there any reason why I had to wait for it to boot up into an OS so I could shut it down at the Welcome screen, or could I have just held down the power button for 15 seconds until the manual override kicked in to force the computer

WiFi refuses to turn on

Is your computer airplane mode is turn on?

I suggest you to go to the follow the below step and check if you’re able to toggle the Airplane mode:

• 
  Go to settings and click on Network & Internet.
  
• 
  Go to airplane mode and toggle.
  

I also suggest you to check if the function key for Wi-Fi works or not. Kindly
Refer to your computer manual to check which function key do so.

Computer turns itself on

To address this concern, we suggest that you follow these steps on how to turn off the fast startup:

• Right-click the Start menu, then select Control Panel.
• Change the view from Category to Large icons.
• Select Power Options.
• Click Choose what the power buttons do.
• Under Shutdown settings, uncheck the Turn on fast startup box.
• Click Save changes.

Manual Windows 10 Update Selection List

Hello folks,

Going to do a manual Windows 10 update.
In the resulting updates for my system, which of the 1 through 6 would be the right download, that is if I did it right. I sorted the list by "Product". In the list, neither #3 nor #5 is Version 21H2.
