  1. Can I move a folder from my AppData/LocalLow folder to an external?

I recently posted a question about deleting a folder from the Roaming folder after moving it to an external. Now I'm wondering If I can do something similar with the LocalLow folder. I like having gaming files and such all on the same drive so it's easier to find them and was planning on moving a gaming folder from the LocalLow folder to my external the folder is almost 3GB. Would this possible to do and be safe to delete after doing so? I'm asking because I don't know if the LocalLow folder would work in the same way as the other two in the AppData folder.

    :)

How to change folder location for "Local" and "LocalLow" folders?

For reasons that I will not specify (as they are not relevant to the question) I would like to move the location of "Roaming", "LocalLow", and "Local" folders. I have the option to do so with "Roaming" but it is missing for "LocalLow" and "Local". Or
even just the entire AppData folder. Is this a permission issue? Is this just not possible? If it's not possible, what is the justification for it?

    Moving Appdata folder

I have moved the Roaming folder under appdata with no problems. I just leave local and locallow where they are.

We would be glad to help you with the issue you are facing today. I understand the difficulty with the problem.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

    • Write in the search box the following: “%appdata%” .
    • After the search is finished left click or tap on the folder that the search feature found.
    • If it takes you to the following path: “C:\Users\The user that you are logged in with\AppData\Roaming”.
    • It means that your folders are still there but they are hidden.
    • Click on “View”.
