Windows 10: Can I play games I guy in microsoft store whilst my security info is updating?

So I have an outlook account I've used for years but never brought a game in Microsoft store before. Really want to play "the outer worlds" tomorrow so just went to the page and clicked pre-order. It got me to sign in with my email and password but then the security phone number was my old number. So I've updated that but it says it'll take 30 days to take affect.


Now if I go to the outer worlds page and click pre order I get a message saying I have to wait 30 days, but I can select the add to basket function and that seems to work. But my worry now is that if I go through with that it'll let me buy the game now but I'll have to wait 30 days until I can play it.


So my questions are, is that worry correct?


And if so is there anyway around it?


Any help greatly appreciated.

I suggest you to update the Graphic Card drivers by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.
