    Can I preview a Read-Only file?

Read-Only files I only care about Word files for now cannot be viewed in the Preview Pane of my Windows 11 system. After opening the file, enabling Editing, and saving it, only then will the Preview Pane be able to view the file. While this functionality may serve as a security measure, it presents a drawback in the event of renaming a file, where I would be required to recommence the entire process, even after several years have passed. This feature is irritating because I have numerous folders each containing at least 10-15 Word files and if I change the name of the folder, it's hell on ea
