Windows 10: Can I put Intel Core i7 2600 on motherboard of HP Compaq Pro 6200 MT?

I have a PC use Celeron G465 but that’s processor is slow, so i want upgrade to Intel Core i7 2600. If i replace Celeron G465 to Intel Core i7 2600, do i need update BIOS or not?

Intel - Core i7-9700K motherboard compatibility

Hi all, looking to upgrade my build to an Intel - Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor but basically every motherboard I plop into pcpartpicker seems to give me this error

• Some Intel B360/H310/Z370 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Coffee Lake Refresh CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.

Not really sure what to do or what motherboard to choose. I don't really want to spend a lot of money or do anything fancy, just something that works with my CPU is all I need. Even when I pick motherboards that pcpartpicker says are compatible, I get this message. I'm scared of buying the wrong one and destroying my parts lol. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

HP compaq 6200 mt pro Running Windows 10

This desktop i bought recently from ebay as a game ready it does game well but the Intel I5 2400s runs at 100% constantly when im in Modern Warfare yet the Temp stays at around 70 degrees C. so i plan to upgrade i've added 2 screen shots of CPUz and the
specs of the mainboard and specific bios and chipset i asked the guy at ebay he says i can upgrade it to an i7 3770k which is an IVY bridge this I5 is a sandy bridge i can't find anywhere that says this bios update will compatible to this 3770k any help? if
not i'll go with the I7 2600/2600k or the I7 2700k i'd really like to find out if this is true or not though guy seemed pretty sure that this would work?

 

Intel Core i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz Processor

I am currently running Windows 10 Pro (Version 21H1) on my Alienware Aurora R6 Desktop PC. When I run the compatibility test, the PC meets all the requirements, except the processor (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz[Cores 4] [Logical processors 8]). The test indicates this process doesn't meet the requirements, yet this processor is listed on the approved list.
