    Can I rebind the IME Kanji key?


    I recently bought a japanese keyboard and so far I have been using the Advanced Settings for Microsoft IME to remap the keys to my liking.However, the "” key reported as "IME Kanji" by PowerToys does not show up as an option in the list to remap keys. Even if I press the key it does not register it.I tried remapping it to F24 using PowerToys and using the IME settings to remap F24, but that does not work either.Is there another way to remap this key? I use the "old" IME btw

    Japanese IME kanji guessing

    Whenever I use the Microsoft Japanese IME keyboard, it has a little text window where it offers suggestions for what kanji to use. I'd like to turn it off, because I need to study the words in hiragana. Any advice would be great.

    How to stop auto-converting kana to kanji in IME Japanese

    I'm using Windows 10 Home and whenever I try to type kana use Microsoft IME Japanese, it automatically wants to convert it to kanji. Even if I select the hiragana option from the pop-up list it gives me, it will revert this to kanji as soon as I start typing the next word. I've read that I need to turn of live conversion in the preferences, but there is no option for live conversion in any of the tabs of my Microsoft IME settings. There is an option for predictive input, but this is already turned off.

    I believe the specific key for the omen command center is a dedicated key to the hardware and cannot be rebind.
