Windows 10: Can I recover a folder which has been deleted by uninstalling the one program in that folder

I had one folder called for example "my work" which contains different files created by me and one is installed folder, so while I uninstalled that program as it was present in the folder " my work" it has deleted the whole folder , but I need files which were created by me in that folder.As it was uninstalled it was not present in recycle bin also.Can I recover back again that folder.

Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

How to delete a folder if XP says it will make some programs not work?

yeah just delete it, xp just picks up that theres an .exe and warns you that the folder contains a program.

afaik hjt is stand alone and runs from its own folder without installing it, if this is the case then just delete it, if you had to install it then uninstall it via add/remove programs.

 

Hidden folders

I installed `Kane and Lynch` on my PC twice in Program Files(x86) folder but I can`t find them (2 folders with game). But free space on my HDD is lower. So there`re those folders on my hdd. I use option `unhide` hidden folders but still can`t find them. Any suggestions? How can i delete those hidden folders?

When I run istallation for this game I can see those folders in Program Files(x86) folde.

I`m using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
