  1. Can I reinstall Win10 on a different Drive and still keep my Key?

So I have an unique problem I guess. I just build my pc and I didn't wanted to buy a new Produkt key when old gaming laptop had a perfectly working Windows 10 version. I plugged the ssd from the laptop into my PC and reinstalled windows but it installed a lot of junk that came with the laptop. A bunch of Aus apps I don't want. I have another ssd with one terrybyte in my PC and I would love install a clean Win 10 on that Ssd and just use my Produkt key from the other version. Is that possible? Or will the software think that Produkt key is allready being used?

  2. Reinstall Windows 10 to new hard drive

    Hi Rodolpho,

We want to know about the issue you're having with your recovery drive. Please answer the questions below:

    • Are you trying to reinstall Windows 8 or Windows 10?
    • If you already upgraded to Windows 10, were you able to create a new copy of the recovery drive?

We suggest creating a new copy of the recovery drive and then follow the steps provided by Andre Da Costa above this thread.

Update us with the outcome so we can assist you further.

Win10 Does not find backup Drive

To address your concern, we need more information about your query:

If not, you can try the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R to open the run command.
    • Type diskmgmt.msc and press enter to open disk management.
    • Right click on the internal drive and select "assign different drive letter and paths".
    • Click "change" and choose a different drive letter from the drop down list.
    • Save the changes and check the functionality.

    Looking forward to your response.
